This week was all about the Beard Video. We particularly enjoyed Crazy Beard – a promo video for an on-going photo project. The idea behind the project is – smile, be crazy, don’t act too serious – this life is about having fun.

Tuesday’s was the trailer for An American Hustle, the new film by David O Russell that cleaned up at the Golden Globe awards last week. It’s a long watch, around two and half hours, but we were captivated by the extraordinary cast – which also includes Amy Adams, Jeremy Renner and Jennifer Lawrence (as Bale’s jaded wife)-  and by the OTT hair styles of Bale (toupéed brush-over) and Cooper (tightly permed locks) as well as matching facial hair.

Wednesday saw the final video from the Bikes, Beard, Bands trilogy  with musical soundtrack, “Body and Soul” from Leanna May and the Matadors.

Finally, Thursday’s Beard time-lapse showed a 60-day beard growt from zero to bushy in under a minute – Beard on!

And in other Beard related news this week:
