The Naked Ramblin’ Band featuring Naked Rambler Stephen Gough as himself in “Get Up! Get Up!” from George Cavanagh on Vimeo.

Did anybody see the documentary The Naked Rambler last week? It was a sad and strange affair centred around Stephen Gough who, having been released from prison after 6 years of incarceration in Scotland, walks home to his mother’s home in Eastleigh, Hampshire. We didn’t quite understand Stephen’s reasons for this gruelling expedition but we admired his courage and of course, his beard.

Stephen met up with The Naked Ramblin’ Band in the forest car park and tucked into a prepared meal for him of Haggis, Neeps and Tatties, a well known Scottish delicacy, after the Scottish Police Service decided, at long last, to turn a blind eye to his naked ramblings and let him walk free to England. This Naked Ramblin’ Band song, Get Up! Get Up!, from the “Freedom to Be Yourself Album”, fits Stephen Gough like a glove. There is slight nudity involved here and there’.
