If you think all passport control officers are humorless, dour-faced people, this ad by Cadbury will change your mind.
Directed by music video director and artist David Wilson to promote the chocolate brand’s new Dairy Milk ‘Ritz’ and ‘Lu’ bars, the ad shows an officer waltzing past luggage carousels, gliding across the airport halls, and shaking his hips to an upbeat disco tune.
The ad also cleverly incorporates purple in keeping with the brand’s signature color, and you’ll notice the officer is donning purple shoes as well.
Silly and quirky, it shows how a bit of chocolate can inject fun and joy into mundane everyday situations.
