Here at Beardrevered we’ve always had a mild hirsute pash on Patrick Grant. What’s not to like? He’s dapper, he’s smart (Creative Director of Norton & Sons, Saville Row and E Tautz, Writer for GQ and TV heartthrob on The Great British Sewing Bee) but above all he sports a fabulous tidy mane of hair of his chin. What’s more, he knows how to look after his fuzz in the Winter. In an interview with British GQ Magazine he suggests….

Let it grow…
“Let your beard grow out a little longer over Christmas, even if just by a couple of millimetres. The extra coverage will not only look better with heavy winter woollies, but will also keep your face from freezing whilst bicycling.”

Take a nod from Magnum PI…
“Don’t be afraid to let your moustache grow out a little fuller than therest. The Tom Selleck look is quite on spec right now, but if you cant go the pure mo then a dominant ‘tashe is the next best thing.”

Ditch the designer stubble…
“Don’t go in for beard topiary, let it grow where it grows, don’t shape orsculpt. Let George Michael be your role model for what not to do.”

Keep it under control…
“Give it a weekly trim with a decent beard trimmer to keep it even. I like the Philips QT4045/70 as the guard wont slip and leave you with a great big bald patch.”
