This week’s Beard News kicked off with the stunning video, O Mare: ‘We name them the Vikings, their life is regulated by the sea, the fishing and “Him”. With white beard, hands used by work and eyes blinded by the sun, they sail. Every wave is a poem. The Stromboli keeps an eye on them, the sea is sometimes reluctantly perilous.’ 

We’re not 100% sure why but we have a soft spot for men with beards and glasses. Is it the geek hipster vibe or the arty intellectual look we can’t get enough of? We can’t make up our minds. We’re nostalgic for Boney M and what better video than (Ra Ra) Rasputin  – with that stunning beard –  to get Wednesday off with a big bang.

Our favourite part of every week is deciding who is awarded Beard of the Week. With all the buzz about Batman we thought we’d go for this – what do you think?
