It was brought to my attention that 18th October was ‘National No Beard Day’ by the (relatively) good people at Executive-shaving.com.
Since we were blissfully unaware of such horrendous yearly events – obviously I should be mark them in bright red on my beard calendar – the charming and persuasive Executive Shaving team passed on one of their many e-books to remind us! This particular book concerns ‘The problems of shaving’ – you see, I’m taking the middle ground, (you’ll notice the word ‘problem‘ in the title).
If for any reason you need/must shave, read on and take advice as necessary…
‘Shaving is a rite of passage – something all men must go through. It can be an enjoyable, everyday ritual, whether it’s a full clean shave or trimming and maintaining a beard.
However, shaving can result in getting nicks, bumps and ingrown hairs – leaving men thinking that maybe it’s their skin, hair or genes causing the problems. Thankfully, we can all relax in learning that the cause of these problems may just be the poor quality of tools being used or a lack of technique. Executive Shaving have just released a series of mini books to help achieve the ultimate shave. Dr. Shave’s book of Shaving Problems is full of advice on how to banish razor burn and ingrown hairs, along with tips on preventing these problems from occurring’.
