I was invited to attend Manmade last Friday – an event created especially for male crafters and organised by Etsy UK , Crafty Fox Market and Mr Wingate at the Old Truman Brewery. To be honest it was fueled more by the knowledge there would be a high percentage of bearded men, but hey, what can I say, I’m weak and have no control when it comes to facial hair – we all know that…
Still, I was very impressed with the variety of stands and the quality of products on show. Just in time to coincide with Father’s Day, there were exhibits, talks, workshops, food, the all important bar as well as an abundance of male dominated creativity.
