The new and final season of Mad Men has just started airing on Sky Atlantic in the UK.
In all honesty my patience ran out last season but I decided to give it one final chance to redeem itself – in the US it received its lowest series premiere ratings since 2008. Bad sign.
Maybe it’s something about the 70s? But mostly it drags. The storylines blur and then I switch off – shame, because I used to like Dapper Dan Draper…
Still, there is a light at the end of this tunnel and his name is Stan. For Stan has a delightful beard. It’s full and luscious and might just be the one thing that keeps me coming back for more…..
