I wanted to share an email I received from a Beardrevered reader in Brazil.
In our own small way we have made a small but very positive contribution to someone’s life – as well as the life of his beard!! Now that has to be a good thing, doesn’t it?

My name is Guilherme, a lawyer from Brazil and I wanted to share a story with you since your page is responsible for me being able to grow a full, thick beard!
I work for the Brazilian Government at the Justice Court. Brazil and its society, despite its image abroad, is very conservative – particularly in careers such as mine – unfortunately there’s just too much prejudice.
When I decided to grow a big beard my boss, the VP of the justice court started complaining about it and asked me to shave it off. I tried to counter argue that one hundred years ago every judge or man of the law flaunted an enormous beard. Nothing worked however and I was obliged (and really sad) to shave my beard.
A few days after this conversation my boss saw me checking out beardrevered.com on my phone and started to see that my point was valid. After that, now one year on, I can grow my beard to the size I want, and even my boss compliments my facial hair on a regular basis nowadays.
