Marc Johns’ offbeat illustrations are a dead cert. to put a smile on my face – it must be the mixture of the absurd and the simple (with a witty comment tagged on the bottom for good measure). On top of that he also has a thing abut facial hair – beards feature quite frequently in his watercolours drawings.
According to his website, this Canadian artist’s work is blogged about by someone, somewhere, every day. This comes as no big surprise as his child-like images are complex in their meanings – they make us laugh but they also make us think.
